The most common reasons for cloudy water are suspended particles which are
too fine to be removed by filtration, and certain micro-organisms that can
form a bacterial haze. These micro-organisms do not usually pose a threat
to health but can give the water a greenish tinge. Both Fi-Clear and
Cleanse are dual action water clarifiers which contain a powerful
coagulant to bind fine particles together so that they can be removed by
your filter. They also have some biocidal activity to help tackle the
other causes of turbidity or water discolouration.
